Author and Yogi, Simon Haas talks about and signs his new book, The Book of Dharma

Sunday 18 May 2014

The Book of Dharma is one of those books that stops you dead in your tracks and alters the way you think and look at life. … I recommend this book highly.”

Keith Davies

Recently reprinted to meet rising demand, The Book of Dharma: Making Enlightened Choices by Simon Haas has been creating a real buzz in bookstores and yoga studios across the UK. This recent Mind, Body and Spirit book explores timeless teachings from India on how to improve the quality of our choices, so that the pathways we select reflect the very best in us and lead to optimal outcomes.“We tend to put a lot of energy into improving our skills, but not so much into improving the quality of our choices. But in the end, it is the series of choices we make throughout our life that defines us. Making wise choices was especially important for kings and queens, which gave rise in India to an ancient lore intended for them—and guarded by them,” said author Haas. In The Book of Dharma, Haas presents the Dharma Code, a set of four design principles that help us make the best possible choices in life. The Book of Dharma explores these principles of yoga through captivating stories and events in the author’s own journey in India.

Simon Haas: As a young boy, Haas began studying the sacred writings of India, and lived for almost ten years as a monk in temple monasteries in India. He apprenticed for sixteen years with an elderly master practitioner in the Bhakti tradition, within an unbroken line of teachers going back many generations. The Book of Dharma charts Haas’s journey and his “excavation” of the teachings of Dharma. Read more at www.bookofdharma.com

Tickets are £3 but are redeemable against the cost of the book on the night.
