Sport Stacking World Medallist and UK Record Holder of 15 WSSA World Championship Sport Stacking Medals, James Acraman, featured in the latest Guinness World Records Book Comes to David's Bookshop

James (18) from Stevenage, Hertfordshire is a Team GB/UK holder of 4 UK records and winner of 2 Gold & 4 Silver UK medals and a staggering 15 World Championship medals (2 Gold) from the WSSA World Sport Stacking Championships held in Montreal Canada (2015) , South Korea (2014) , Florida, USA (2013) and Butzbach, Germany (2012) competing against 248 other stackers from 14 countries around the world.

James has been helping schools throughout the South East to encourage young people to participate in sport. Having appeared on ITV Anglia News, Blue Peter and local radio, Disney then approached James asking him to help them produce a special episode of “Tricks & Twists” on sport-stacking to assist NHS Change4Life and Public Health England. This was televised on The Disney Channel numerous times throughout the summer holidays. James now features in 134 million copies of the famous Guinness World Records 2016” book translated in 21 languages & sold in over 100 countries!

As well as helping to raise the profile of Sport Stacking, James has been on- hand to demonstrate, support and hopefully inspire people and to answer any questions they may have about the sport. He has shown pupils how to perform the 3-3-3 stack, the 3-6-3 stack as well as the challenging Cycle stack in under 7 seconds. James is currently attending North Herts College.

James will be giving a demonstration and signing copies of Guinness Book of World Records 2016 at David’s Bookshop on Saturday, 31 October from 11 am until 12 pm.  Admission is free.
