Women's Prize for Fiction Shortlist 2024

Founded as a riposte to 1991’s all-male Booker Prize shortlist, since 1996 the Women’s Prize for Fiction has underpinned a renaissance in literary fiction written by women.

The winner of the 2023 Women's Prize for Fiction was Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver.

Shortlist of six books announced on 24 April. The winner will be announced on 13 June.
