Andy's work developed from a lifelong habit of making detailed observational drawings, which led him to the exacting art of wood engraving. Wildlife, gardens and landscapes feature strongly in his work, and bees and birds often inhabit the prints, which are printed using a Victorian handpress and have been used in book illustrations and postage stamps, as well as for exhibition.
