"An 18th Century Manx Tale of the Illicit Trade". First edition, first impression. Pink and white dust-jacket with titles in black, a couple of tears along the top back edge and small piece torn away plus wear at top and bottom of spine, discolouration to the plain white back, now protected in a clear removable cover. Book bound in green cloth with gilt titles. Hinge and text block firm. Neat inscription to front end paper dated 1968. A few little spots to the closed page edge but internally pages smooth and clean and bright. Errata slip bound in at the front.
