‘Stages of Life’ greeting card. Printed in England on an uncoated, light cream 300gsm Italian paper, which is recyclable, biodegradable and FSC certified.
Adapted and translated from a French Image d’Épinal print, popular in the early 19th century. Each step represents a different decade in life, beginning from ‘adolescence’ at 10 years through ‘maturity’ at 40 years to ‘idiocy’ at 100 years. The couple on the top step are 50 years old, the pinnacle of life?
All our greeting cards are 170mm x 120mm (approx. 5” x 7”) and blank inside, individually wrapped in a compostable wrapper made from plants, with a 100% recycled, 110gsm kraft envelope.
